In 2000, Rick (Bigfoot, Devilstomper) got his first computer. Until that time, he didn't even know how to turn one on. It turned out to be a "problem" computer. Persistance paid off, and he learned a lot about them with that computer.
After getting online, he started looking for Christian chatrooms...places where he could fellowship and meet other Christians and grow more in the Lord.
After going to different chatrooms, and seeing things that weren't pleasing to the Lord, he said to God: "Lord, if I had a chatroom, these things wouldn't be taking place." The Lord spoke to his heart and said: "Why don't you start one of your own then?"
He then started a room on the old MSN chat, and after being there a few weeks, someone came into the chatroom, and ended up rededicating their life to the Lord. After that.....he was hooked!
About October 2003, MSN was going to be charging for the chat, and he knew that some wouldn't have the money to be there, so he went looking for a place to have a chatroom. Chippie told him of a possibility a friend had told her about. He had tried a few places, but that was unfruitful.
Rick then went to the ablazenet chat, and talked to Blessed a bit. That very day, he had a chatroom there. God was surely in the arrangements on this.
Chippie is still with Rick in the chatroom, and is a rock and a great blessing to all. Once you've talked with her, you will know she is a blessing sent from the Lord.
Rick has always been in Gospel Music, and still sings with the Dominion Quartet and does solo work also. When not out singing great distances, he is in the chatroom, hoping to be a blessing to someone along the way.
